After making a name for herself in the Phoenix art and music communities, Sooz moved to Chicago where she is currently studying Photography and Fiction Writing. She has hung work in galleries and cafes; shot countless shows, events, and portraits; provided photography for walls at music shows, album covers, and promotional flyers; and donated artwork for charity auctions. She is involved in outreach programs in Chicago Public Schools. Sooz often combines straightforward and sensitive essays with her raw and thoughtful images and focuses her work on the unavoidable struggles and joys inherent to the delicate balance of being human. |
